Traumstadtdenken (“Dream-City-Thinking”) is the first book by longtime Montreal comic artist and journalist Rupert Bottenberg. A stark, psychedelic collection in black & white, Traumstadtdenken combines comics and drawings from the last 10 years with a sizeable chunk of recent work to create a cohesive, if mind-bending, whole. Bottenberg will launch his new book, in conjunction with an exhibition of his silkscreen prints, at Le Cheval Blanc this weekend.
